How to choose the right puppy?
So now you and your family have decided that a poodle is the right breed for your family. How do you go abouts finding and picking the right puppy?

First question you should ask is, what size poodle is a better fit in your family?

Poodles come in 3 sizes, Standard, Miniature and Toy. There is a slight size range in each of these sizes.

Second question is, how to find the right breeder?

The Poodle Speciality Club of BC has numerous breeder members who are listed under the 'breeders' page. Please contact the breeders and ask them any questions you may have. Our members are very friendly and helpful.

You should always visit the breeder's place and meet the dogs in person when wanting to buy a puppy.  When selecting a puppy, it is best to choose a puppy with the right personality for your needs rather than choosing by color or sex. This puppy will hopefully be living with you for the next 12-16 years.
